TA is offered to a student by the department wherein the student would grade the papers of the undergraduate or graduate students in a particular subject. They will be assigned as a TA for a particular course. Responsibility of a TA would be to assist the professor who is teaching that particular course. Payment to a TA may vary depending on the work assigned or the department.
